About Chippewas of Rama First Nation
Chippewas of Rama First Nation is located around 1.5 hours North of Toronto, Ontario. Their 2,500 acres of land is in “Ontario’s Lake Country” on the eastern side of Lake Couchiching. Chippewas of Rama has a population of 1800 members on-Reserve and about 700 members Off-Reserve. There’s a school called Mnjikaning Kendaaswin Elementary School-Rama and 159 students attend it. Rama has been following close to the spirit and using their traditions as a backbone to the community.
On-Reserve Services
Services, programs, and resources managed by the First Nation and accessed by community citizens within the First Nation are categorized as “On-Reserve Services”.
