About Atikameksheng Anishnawbek First Nation
Just west of the Greater Sudbury region, the community of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek stretches across 43,747 acres of land is surround by many lakes. The member population of this Atikameksheng Anishnawbek is 1300 citizens. Approximately 430 members live on-Reserve, and 870 members live Off-Reserve. Students of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek attend school off-reserve within the Rainbow District School Board, the Sudbury Catholic District School Board, and the Conseil Scolaire Catholique du Nouvel-Ontario.

Categorized as “Off-Reserve Services”, these multi-functional services and organizations, such as Indigenous Friendship Centres and Health Units, offer a wide-range of services, programs and amenities geared toward Indigenous clients.
