About Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation

Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation is located in the Southern part of Ontario. The population of this community is 231 members, on-Reserve 72, and Off-Reserve 158 members. The students on and Off-Reserve attend schools Off-Reserve. The schools are called S.A. Cawker Public School, R.H. Cornish Public School, and Good Shepard Separate School. As of now in the present Mississauga has created local employment for their First Nation members. The population has increased as with their culture, and language. They are working towards preserving their people’s history.
