About Pic Mobert First Nation

Pic Mobert First Nation (Netmizaaggamig Nishnaabeg First Nation) is located off Highway 17 about 55 km East of Marathon Ontario, on the Eastern Shores of White Lake. This community is inside the Superior Robinson Treaty Area. Netmizaaggamig Nishnaabeg First Nation is made up of two Ojibwe First Nations. This community is a member to both Anishinabek Nation (Union of Ontario Indians) and the Nokiiin Tribal Council. Pic Mobert is governed by the Chi-Naaknigewin (Community Constitution) by June 21, 2016. The total population is 1,010 members but between 350 and 400 of the population live on-Reserve. There is a school in this community, it is called Netamisakmik Centre that students on-Reserve go to.
