  • Provides public information and education about mental illness
  • Provides information and education about the needs of consumer/survivors and their families
  • Networks with agencies, professionals, community members and the public on behalf of consumer/survivors
  • Researches current information about mental health, self-help, and advocacy, resources are available
  • Provides referrals
