Application
- Requires submission of completed application by parents
- Upon approval of financial assistance by committee, parents can register child in recreational activity and show approval letter to the activity provider
Eligibility - Population(s) Served
- Children and youth 18 years of age and younger in financial need
- Requires referral from community agency or group
- Children are allowed to access 1 long-term activity per season
- Parents are required to ensure that child attends recreational activity regularly

Description of Services:
Works to enhance the lives of children and youth by providing sponsorship for cultural, leisure, and recreational activities for families facing financial barriers to access activities which can include:
- Art and craft programs
- Beavers
- Cadets
- Cubs
- Dance
- First Aid
- Girl Guides
- Music
- Scouts
- Summer and Sports Camps
- Sports such as baseball, bowling, curling, gymnastics, hockey, junior football, skating, skiing and swimming
- Addressing gaps in services for children and youth in the area
- Developing and expanding services available to children and youth in crisis
- Establishing a campaign to promote the message of anti violence and positive self esteem
- Identifying the need for affordable recreational activities for children and youth
- Establishing a central access point to post and announce all activities in Dryden for children and youth
