Description of Services:
- Encourages young people to organize their own activities eg. workshops, dances, games and other fun activities to keep them off the streets at night
- Offers facilities for meetings, workshops, socials, study, tutoring, computer access, and networking
- Has members and affiliate groups throughout Northwestern Ontario
- Educates young women about their rights and any issues that affect their well-being
- Educates boys and young men about manhood, life skills and social responsibilities
- Helps students to do well in school
- Teaches youths to plan and organize their own activities
- Offers reception and orientation for new immigrant and refugee youths who come to Thunder Bay from other countries
- Provides orientation sessions for Indigenous students from remote communities coming to study in urban centres to help them adapt to city life
- Offers "Youth Working for Change" that incorporates race relations, safer communities and environmental campaigns
