Sewage Permit
- Requires submission of fee with completed application; forms available at office or online
Sewage Permit
- Owner obtains copy of Sewage Permit Process Backgrounder & Guide and Sewage Permit Application; available online or at office
- Requires submission of fee, (Fee varies depending on permit type). completed permit application, laboratory results for design soils and a copy of complete property survey
- Application is reviewed by Inspector to determine compliance with the Code and to ensure all required information is submitted
- Failed inspections may require a re-inspection at standard rates
- Owner or representative required to be on site during all inspections
- Completed sewage system requires final inspection
- Owner receives Certificate of Completion within fifteen days of final approval

Description of Services:
Delivers the Part 8 Private Sewage Disposal Program under the Ontario Building Code Act
- Provides inspections and issues permits for sewage systems
- Provides information to Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing on suitability for sewage disposal/treatment for new lots and land development sites
- Performs inspections for consents, subdivisions, minor variances and other zoning-related issues
- Investigates complaints about malfunctioning sewage systems
- Conducts file searches and inspections of newly severed lots and land development sites on the suitability for sewage disposal/treatment
