Description of Services:
Multicultural Youth Helpline and Services
- youth and family situation professional and culturally relevant assessment and intervention
- identification of root causes, issues, and challenges
- support plan development
- stay-in-school initiatives
- assists youth to remain and succeed in school
- development of relationship between schools, families, and communities
- assistance of addressing the needs of diverse school populations
- parent and family support
- assists families better understand and address challenges experienced by children, youth, and family
- systems navigation assistance
- promote access to appropriate professional mainstream health and related services with a focus on early, pre-crisis support
- helps address barriers of access to needed mainstream services
