Description of Services:
Provides services, support and education to heal and strengthen families
- Provides holistic, bicultural services with a focus on the values, customs and traditions of the Anishinaabe people
- Provides referrals to other service providers
- Addiction counselling and support (problematic alcohol and substance use and gambling)
- Advocacy
- Cultural activities (includes teaching cultural values)
- Family planning
- Life skills training
- Networking with other First Nation family support programs
- Parenting groups for youth, men and women
- Recreational events
- Repatriation support
- Social events
- Traditional circles and support groups
- Workshops on healthy living and related family topics
