Operates a volunteer fire department

Responsible for fire prevention and administration of the Ontario Fire Code

Issues applicable burn permits required for brush piles, incinerators and open fires, excluding campfires

Provides fire safety and prevention education

Conducts annual smoke detector tests

Maintains equipment consisting of tanker truck, pumper truck, rescue van and auto extrication equipment
