Description of Services:
Medical clinic run by health professionals for currently enrolled Symons Campus Trent University students. Services include:
- Birth control counselling
- Emergency contraception
- Pregnancy testing and counselling
- cervical cancer screening (HPV testing)
- STI testing, information, treatment, and follow-up
- Prescription renewals (please make an appointment 3-4 weeks before your prescription is set to run out)
- First aid, wound care and dressing, suture removal
- Injuries
- Wart treatment
- Colds, flus, headaches, migraines
- Immunizations and other injections (B12, Depo, etc.)
- Allergy injections already prescribed by an Allergist (see below for more information)
- TB testing (Nursing students please contact the School of Nursing)
- Smoking cessation counselling
- Nutritional assessment and counselling by a Registered Dietician
- Referrals to specialists as deemed medically necessary
- Mental health assessments and treatment
- Gender affirming care for trans and non-binary individuals (including hormone provision and surgical planning
