Description of Services:
Community crisis service offering timely response to adult (16+) experiencing
Crisis team may include:
Note: not an emergency response unit * in a life-threatening emergency call 911
Program offered in partnership with the Peel Regional Police Service and Caledon OPP detachment
Crisis support is offered over the crisis line and in-person in Peel Region and Dufferin County. Crisis support is offered over the crisis line in West Woodbridge and North Etobicoke
Crisis services offered:
- mental health or addictions crisis
- individuals having difficulties coping
- family, caregivers and friends needing support
Crisis team may include:
- mental health workers
- nurses
- social workers
- occupational therapists
- specially trained plain-clothes police officers

- Crisis Line - for people who need immediate support
- Outreach Visits - for people who need a more in-depth mental health assessment and safety plan. Can take up to 24 hours to arrange
- Rapid Response - triggered by a live 911 call that involves a mental health or addiction crisis
