Description of Services:

This program is designed for older adults who have a neurocognitive diagnosis complicated by Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms Disorder (BPSD), and/or medical comorbidities that may exceed the capacity of the community care and long-term care system to address.

The focus of the program is an assessment of the causes of these behaviours and work to improve quality of life through environmental, behavioural, and pharmacological approaches. Findings and care recommendations will be shared with the home environment.

The program will function as both a assessment site and demonstration site for educational purposes.
