Description of Services:

Provides support to families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, Transgendered and Two-Spirited (MMIWGT2S)

Works in collaboration with the Family Information Liaison Unit

Services include:

Trauma-informed services to families of MMIWGT2S and survivors of violence
Advocacy and crisis support
One-on-one counselling to clients who have been victimized or who have experienced abuse
Development of a plan of care for clients
Workshops such as safety planning, self-care and healing circles
Referrals to other supports as needed
