Description of Services:
6 Employment programs provide one to one and group assistance to people who are looking for employment or training
Offer workshops on various topics * One to one employment counselling * job matching with employers * specialty programs for youth newcomers to Canada and people experiencing mental health barriers to employment * financial and other supports may also be available for those who qualify

- Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG) An Employment Ontario program offering financial support for individual employers to purchase training for their employees * available to small, medium and large businesses planning to deliver short-term training to promote existing or hire new employees
- Employment Employment Ontario program * professional one-to-one assessment and job search guidance by trained counsellors * assistance in developing an individualized return to work action plan and appropriate resources for job search * information on how to access Government of Ontario training programs and support funding
- Moving Forward - Mental Health Pre-Employment Program A full-time eight-week essential skills program offered in partnership with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) * career exploration, computer training, job search skills and techniques, workplace success strategies, life coping and management strategies, health and wellness, and individual counselling support throughout
- New Knowledge, New Steps for Newcomers Program A full time, eight-week essential skills program for immigrants to navigate the Canadian job market and education system * Participants learn about labour market trends and Canadian business culture, and receive vocational assessments, one-to-one counselling, job search skills and activities, as well as professional networking opportunities. - Youth Works A 14-week, full time, paid pre-employment program for young people 16-30 years old, who are out of school or out of work and are looking for employment. * include 6 weeks of employability workshops provided to enhance job search skills * CPR and First Aid certification * one-to-one support * assistance in obtaining a paid, two month work placement
