Addiction Services Central Ontario - Addiction Withdrawal Management Services - Aurora

Addiction treatment includes pharmacotherapy for substance use, cravings, and withdrawal, provided by a Nurse Practitioner or Addiction Physician, along with counselling focused on stabilization and withdrawal management. Additional support includes case management for mental health and addiction concerns, as well as peer support from individuals with lived experience. The process involves screening, assessing, planning and monitoring withdrawal symptoms for individuals who may experience mild-moderate withdrawal symptoms when substance use is discontinued.
