West Parry Sound District Community Support Services - Transportation Program

Volunteer transportation for medical appointments, social activities and personal errands.

Services available:

• confirmation calls to confirm appointment date, time and scheduling
• escorted assistance to the appointment
• check in at reception to confirm appointment time
• assistance with shopping
• transport of walkers and other mobility devices
• client travel companion is welcome (family, friend or caregiver)
• other special services upon request

For medical appointments, will travel to Sudbury, North Bay, Barrie, Orillia, Toronto and other long distance locations

All clients are required to schedule their trips in advance, one week advance notice preferred * No trip is guaranteed. Trips are booked on a first come, first served basis * mileage compensation or trip fee applies to all transportation programs
