Description of Services:
Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner services
Mental Health, Abuse and Trauma
- Assessment and treatment of acute and historical sexual assault and abuse and intimate partner violence
- Support and services for victim/survivors of human trafficking
- Forensic evidence collection, forensic photography and documentation as well as support for reporting to law enforcement
- Education and prevention resources for families and youth, as well as referrals for required supports
Mental Health, Abuse and Trauma
- Psychotherapy services for children and adolescent victims of sexual assault/abuse (short term support)
- Family support
- Psycho-educational group for parents/caregivers
- Psychotherapy services not available for Quebec patients
