Eligibility - Population(s) Served

  • Primarily for children and youth, aged 4-17 years of age, residing in the East End and Simpson Street area but open to others as well

  • Children and youth who cannot afford to access these opportunities

Description of Services:

  • Provides a safe haven for underprivileged children and youth at risk
  • Serves as a drop-in centre with free use of gym equipment and various activities including healthy meals and snacks
  • Focuses on fitness and self-esteem
    • Amateur Boxing Club
    • Course will accommodate both competitive and recreational amateur boxers
    Additional programs:
    • Arts and crafts
    • Chess club
    • Cooking classes
    • Computer lab and video games room
    • Gymnastics
    • Full weight and cardio room
    • Hair dressing salon
    • Jewelery
    • Piano, guitar and drum lessons
    • Pottery
    • Tutoring
    • Winter and summer activities such as skiing, sledding and swimming
    • Wrestling
