Hong Fook Mental Health Association - Health Promotion - Hong Fook Association - Downtown Markham

Promotes mental well-being among individuals through enhancing knowledge of mental health and mental illness, addressing stigma, and building community capacity in cultivating an environment that promotes mental health. Approaches include groups, mass media promotion, community development activities, community outreach through public presentations and displays, educational workshops and conferences, peer leadership and volunteer development. The program is open to the following communities: Cambodian, Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), Korean, and Vietnamese. Consultation is provided to service providers on mental health related issues.
