Prioritization for accessing this program will be determined using the Vulnerability Index - Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool (VI-SPDAT)

Eligibility - Population(s) Served

  • Individuals 16 years of age and older, who

  • reside in Kenora, and

  • whose recovery can be appropriately managed

    through community-based case management

    services


  • not a safety risk to themselves or others


Mental Health and Justice:

  • Available to individuals living with mental illness that are involved with the criminal just system through mental health court diversion or on release from a provincial correctional facility


Mental Health and Addictions

  • Available to individuals with mental illness or addcitions challenges who are homeless or at risk of being homeless

Description of Services:

  • Provides rent subsidies to individuals living withpoor mental health who are homeless or at riskof being homeless
  • Provides financial support and housing casemanagement to support individuals in obtainingand maintaining safe, suitable housing
  • Operates in partnership with the Kenora DistrictServices Board and private landlords in Kenora
