Costi Immigrant Services - Family And Mental Health Program - Vaughan Centre

The Family and Mental Health program provides newcomer individuals, couples and families experiencing emotional and psychological distress language specific (Arabic, Dari, English, Farsi, French, Hindi, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Tigrigna, Ukrainian, Urdu) and culturally responsive in person or virtual counselling. The program employs a variety of approaches including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy and Emotional Focused Therapy to develop coping strategies, identify strengths, provide resources, promote healing, resiliency and self-empowerment. The program offers mindful meditation group counselling to overcome anxiety and depression.
