Description of Services:
Occupational therapy (OT) helps people develop and maintain everyday life roles and activities when their ability to function independently has been challenged by physical illness or injury, developmental challenges, the aging process, mental illness, or emotional issues. Occupational therapy provides the skills needed for the job of living for people of all ages.
Occupational therapists see both inpatients and outpatients for a range of orthopaedic and neurological conditions. The occupational therapy hand and upper limb service in the outpatient department assesses and treats traumatic hand injuries, surgeries and burns.
