Food safety - Food handler certification courses. Inspection of retaurants, food stores, and other food premises. Recalls of hazardous foods * Food safety awareness
Rabies Control - Surveillance and public awareness. Investigation of possible human exposures to rabies and confinement for suspect animals
Health Hazards - Investigation and inspection of complaints related to public health hazards, including residential and public settings
Safe Water - Interpretation of water analysis reports and information on health effects. Inspection of Small Drinking Water Systems. Testing and reporting on municipally-owned public beaches * Inspection of Public Recreational Water Facilities. Response to adverse water quality incidents
Sewage Disposal - Sewage system permits and inspection. Investigations of sewage disposal complaints * Review of land development proposals
Tobacco Control - Inspection and enforcement of the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, including complaint response
