Description of Services:
Community counselling is provided to pregnant youth, young parents and families. Individual, couple and family counselling are available along with support for preparing for baby and the transition to parenthood.
Issues or situations that require advocacy and support such as housing, social assistance, daycare subsidy, return to school, mental health, grief, and child welfare can be worked on with a community counsellor. Community counsellors can also provide support within local area schools and are available to consult with and make referrals to other professionals.
