Description of Services:
Free and confidential counselling services are offered for women who are dealing with abuse, making plans to leave abuse, or recovering from abuse and violence * offers one-to-one mentoring and educational programs * This short term, goal-oriented service uses cognitive behavioural and asset-based approach to:
- assists women to use internal and external resources in order to make long term changes in their lives
- develops the power of the individual by discovering and building upon the strengths of each woman
- supports women to accomplish their goals for economic and emotional independence
