Description of Services:
Offers a variety of adult learning programs such as:
English as a Second Language (ESL): English instruction in speaking, listening, reading and writing from ESL literacy levels to Canadians, language benchmark levels 1-8 * english for academic purposes, workplace english,TOEFL and IELTS preparation classes are also available
Math and English Upgrading: Help students review and upgrade their skills in preparation for the GED exam, credit programs or re-entry to the workforce * offers specific employment classes like retail training, soft skills and others as well as literacy, numeracy and essential skills services that help learners transition to their goals of employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education or independence
Computer Upgrading: Offers individualized attention using current software * programs include basic computing and e-mail, keyboarding, microsoft word, business, print, media, presentations, excel, simply accounting
Summer School: Includes ESL math and english upgrading, GED preparation and computer training
