Description of Services:
Provides and advocates for a full range of community-based services for people with intellectual disabilities including accommodation, employment, respite, community access, planning and family supports
Residential services: operates 6 supervised residences throughout the district * provides support in areas such as laundry, meal preparation and shopping
Life skills training centre: provides a stimulating day program with a variety of activities for adults with an intellectual disability
Vocational services: provides assessment, training and work for people with an intellectual disability
Supported independent living: supports adults with an intellectual disability to live in their own homes or apartments in the community while receiving the assistance and supports they require
Respite support: allows family members the opportunity to have a break from the constant specialized care required by the individual with special needs
Supported employment program: provides assistance and support for adults with an intellectual disability to obtain and maintain a job in the community
Foundations: supports transitional aged youth with intellectual disabilities to build knowledge and skills to start making informed decisions regarding work, recreation and leisure, life-long learning and volunteer opportunities available in the community
Resource teacher program: supports children up to the age of twelve who have delays in one or more developmental domains or who may be at risk of a developmental delay
Behavior support program: supports licensed child care centers and help deal with significant challenges
