Description of Services:

Supports for people with long term health care needs

Respite Apartment Program - Offers one wheelchair accessible fully furnished apartment * people required to bring their own food, personal toiletries, clothing and medication

Outreach Attendant Services - 24 hour attendant services to adults with physical disabilities in order to promote independent living * services include
  • bathing and washing
  • toileting, bowel and bladder care
  • transferring and mobility
  • dressing, undressing and personal grooming
  • meal preparation and feeding
  • laundry and light housekeeping
  • assistance with grocery shopping

Senior’s Homemaking Program - Supports for light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, security checks and some personal care * to meet the needs of older adults who are able to direct their own care and wish to stay in their own home

Accessible Housing - With 24 hour support

Assisted Living - Older adults can reside safely at home and receive personal care, homemaking, meals, assistance with medications and safety checks on a scheduled and unscheduled basis, 24/7

Low Acuity Personal Support - Regularly provided once weekly personal support services such as bathing, activities of daily living, medication reminders, bowel routine, dry dressing etc and some post acute, time limited services * some services provided only with a contingency plan such as pre-measured insulin, TED stockings (with assessment) and transfers/lifts
