Description of Services:
Assists developmentally disabled individuals to pursue their maximum potential * provides Individualized supports and services that foster community integration,
social inclusion and choices while guaranteeing individual rights * offers a variety of residential programs designed to provide staff support for individuals with developmental disabilities and living in either a group home or in the community through the intensive residential support program or in the supported independent living program
Community Participation Services
Offers a variety of day programs to individuals with developmental disabilities which include life skills, socialization, leisure, recreation, occupational and physio activities, volunteerism. Work in collaboration with March of Dimes to offer supports, integration and transition into community by providing job skills, employment training, introduction to community resources, employment preparation, placement and volunteer opportunities.
Respite Care Services
Provides relief to families and for individuals with developmental disabilities living in the Sudbury district and Sudbury East * services provided are either in home and out of home supports
Residential services
Provides community living alternatives to adults who have a developmental disability *the goal is physical and social integration/inclusion of adults in the community * the varied residential programs are designed to provide staff support for individuals living in a group home, as well as in a supported independent living program
