Description of Services:

An organization run by people with disabilities * promote the rights of people with disabilities for them to take control of their own lives * offer opportunities for people with disabilities to learn skills * develop and implement services, programs and activities that empower individuals with disabilities

Programs include:
  • attendant service application
  • independent living skills training
  • direct funding/financement direct
  • parenting with disability network
  • peer support
  • service navigation

  • Attendant Service Application Centre (ASAC) Centralized point of access for individuals with physical disabilities to apply for the following attendant services offered by all attendant service providers in Toronto and York Region
    • supportive housing attendant services
    • attendant outreach services
    • transitional and life skills programs 
    Other services: Greenbook Online - searchable directory of attendant services in Ontario

  • Direct Funding Program Enables adults with permanent physical disabilities to become employers of their own attendants. Eligible participants will receive a budget so they can recruit, hire and train their own personal care attendants. Services are portable within Ontario and allow choice, flexibility and control to individuals who want to self-manage their attendant services.
