Description of Services:
School-Based Services
Provides immediate counselling services to students within their school
Offered at the three school boards in Thunder Bay (Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, Lakehead Public Schools, and Conseil scolaire de district des Aurores boréales)
Day Treatment Program
Offers a school-based Day Treatment program to help children and youth who are struggling in the classroom due to social, emotional, and/or behavioural issues
Provides mental health services and a modified academic program consisting of a shorter school day and two specialized classrooms
Support is provided by a board certified teacher, Child and Youth Workers, and a Social Worker
Offered in collaboration with the Lakehead Public School Board and the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board
