Physician or Nurse Practitioner Referral required

Individuals who are affected by moderate or severe bronchitis, emphysema, bronchiectasis, pulmonary fibrosis or other lung conditions
Individuals with a confirmed diagnosis of COPD by Pulmonary Function Tests and/or spirometry
Individuals need to be medically stable, safe to exercise, and have quit smoking to participate in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation program
Individuals do not need to have quit smoking for the COPD Knowledge and Skills Clinic

Offers an 8-week Pulmonary Rehabilitation outpatient program as well as a Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Knowledge and Skills Clinic

Provides assessments by a Respirologist, Respiratory Therapist, and Physiotherapist

Helps individuals increase their quality of life, self-confidence and self-reliance in managing their lung disease and its symptoms

Provides information on smoking cessation

Helps individuals reduce the intensity of their shortness of breath and improve their ability to perform daily activities

Provides social and emotional support to clients

Works to prevent or reduce hospital admissions and physician visits
