Description of Services:
Administers a community-based food purchasing system that makes fresh fruits and vegetables available to community membersCharges a small fee each month from participants in exchange for a large box of fresh fruits and vegetables which also includes either a rice or pasta, sauce and a canned vegetableIncludes a newsletter outlining upcoming dates, all items in the Food Box and a recipe using items from the boxProvides a Meat/Dairy box draw twice a year with individuals completing program survey to enter drawPartners with the Dryden Food Access Committee and Dryden SafewayReceives additional support from Dryden Native Friendship Centre, Dryden Volunteer Recruitment & Referral Centre and Community Living-Dryden/Sioux Lookout
