Description of Services:

Operates a volunteer fire department

Responsible for fire prevention and administration of the Ontario Fire Code

Issues applicable burn permits required for brush piles, incinerators and open fires, including fire pits and chimneys

Provides fire safety and prevention education

Maintains 2 fire halls, 4 fire trucks, fire equipment and 1 extrication kit

Works in cooperation with the Rainy River District Mutual Aid Fire system
