Environment
  • Responsible for garbage and recycling collection
  • Provides a household hazardous waste collection day at the Public Works yard once per year
  • Operates a landfill
  • Operates the water treatment plant and offers tours
  • Offers Engineering services and Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping services
Roads and Transportation
  • Maintains and repairs road ways, ditches, curbs and sidewalks
  • Maintains in-ground storm and sanitary sewer systems
  • Responsible for street lighting and traffic signals
  • Responsible for sanding, salting and plowing roadways and sidewalks
