Description of Services:

Public school board operating 70 schools in 9 communities: Windsor, LaSalle, Amherstburg, Tecumseh, Lakeshore, Essex, Kingsville, Leamington and Pelee Island

There are 55 elementary schools and 15 secondary schools, an adult education program and the Trillium Learning Centre. We have approximately 36,000 students served by 4,700 employees

About Us

The Board's annual operating budget is more than $460 million. The Director of Education, is supported by a group of 9 Superintendents. There are 10 Trustees which make up the Board of Trustees and they meet in public session once each month during the school year.
