Provides support to individuals and families affected by mental health issues and have identified the need for peer support from someone who has experienced a mental illness and is knowledgeable of mental health and social services
Services provided include:
- Peer and family peer support
- Educational sessions and training seminars
- Regional consumer and family conferences
- Eight-session Family Information Support Program
- Referral and advocacy services
Educational training can include:
- Anti-Stigma Education
- Hearing Voices that are distressing
- Mental Health First Aid
- Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP)
