Description of Services:

Community based services that address crime and its causes * prevention and intervention services

  • Bail verification and supervision program: Pretrial assistance for accused individuals
  • Community education: Presentation and promotional materials
  • Community service order: Hours performed at community agencies
  • Discharge planning: Assistance in pre-release planning to ensure housing and financial needs are met upon release from custody
  • Offender treatment: Individual sessions for those on parole to teach healthy thinking and problem solving skills
  • Options navigator: Assistance towards employment, schooling and support services
  • Record suspensions: Assistance with application
  • Federal diversion: Provides service for clients offered federal diversion
  • Restorative justice: Restorative justice training and facilitation of restorative practices within the community
  • Housing based intensive case management: Offered to people that are at high risk of homelessness
  • Shelter diversion: Assistance in helping people who are homeless to find/maintain housing
  • Options for change: Social skills training in groups and individually
