Description of Services:

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is a treatment that is used as a substitute for individuals abusing prescription medications and or harmful substances. This treatment helps to prevent the withdrawal symptoms that are experienced when discontinuing the use of illegal substances. MAT helps to maintain and manage individuals suffering from Substance Use Disorder while decreasing possible criminal behaviour, negative lifestyle choices, and potential health risks associated with substance use.
