Application

Referrals are made through one of six provincial TMH Service Coordination organizations. Any social worker or case manager from community children's services organizations can refer. Call for information. Three coordination organizations serve the general public and three serve Indigenous & First Nations people. Algoma Family Services is one coordination organization that serves the general public in most of Northern Ontario.

Description of Services:

This program serves children/youth with mental health concerns, along with their primary care-givers and involved health and social service professionals. The psychiatric consultations are offered via video-conferencing at Ontario Tele-Health Network (OTN) sites. The psychiatrists provide consultations out of three main hubs: Toronto Hospital for Sick Children, Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, and the Child and Parent Resource Institute.
