Fees

Program - Individuals without coverage must pay a monthly cash payment ; None - Individuals covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Program (OHIP), a Status Card, or Ontario Disability Pension

Description of Services:

  • Offers opioid agonist therapy (methadone or Suboxone) for individuals overcoming opiate dependence (heroin, oxycontin, morphine, fentanyl, etc)
  • Provides an intensive outpatient harm reduction program designed to reduce risk to ones self and society, maintain stable lifestyle, eliminate withdrawal symptoms, improve self esteem, health and overall quality of life
  • Services include:
    • Initial intake screening procedure
    • A signed treatment contract
    • Focused medical examination
    • Appropriate lab tests
    • Initial as well as ongoing supervised urinalysis
    • Weekly group and individual therapy
    • Regular medical follow-ups and supervision
    • Regular methadone/Suboxone dosing
    • Treatment of substance use related illness and/or diseases (such as Hepatitis C and HIV infection)
    • After care program
    Also offers onsite:
    • Needle Exchange Program
    • Naloxone Overdose Response Program - a lifesaving medication that can quickly restore the breathing of a person who has overdosed on heroin or prescription opioid pain medication
