Description of Services:

The Youth Hub provides homework help, one-on-one counselling, newcomer settlement support, career-education networking, a range of after-school programs, recreational activities, volunteering opportunities and community service for high school graduation

After School Programs

Program for youth ages 12-25. It is an opportunity to engage in recreational activities, learn more about health and wellness and participate in workshops about life skills. Also offer girls' and boys' groups providing support with homework and workshops. Youth cultivate their leadership skills at the Youth Council meetings. Snacks and beverages are provided throughout the program

Supports for Youth
Provides assistance with resume building, form filling and other tools to help with career and employment opportunities

Newcomer youth are offered English Conversation Circles, Movie Night and Cooking Clubs. Health and wellness workshops are conducted

Supportive Counselling
In a welcoming and safe environment, youth are provided with help and support with one-on-one counselling for those facing barriers and hardships. Youth Counsellors are available to listen and assist where needed. Services also include providing information and referrals to community services and programs

Settlement - Orientation Support
In a welcoming and safe environment, youth are provided with help and support with settlement and orientation support to Canada. Staff will assist newcomer youth to navigate systems and services which facilitate their settlement and resettlement in Canada
