Description of Services:

Hospital centre that focuses on reducing the effects of stroke through treatment and best practices.

Services include:
  • stroke prevention and care
  • works collaboratively with the Regional Stroke Centre and other partners for stroke care coordination
  • interdisciplinary team assists in improving physical and cognitive well-being as result of a stroke
  • develop a recovery plan
  • monthly stroke education clinic
  • administers clot-busting drug t-PA
