Description of Services:

Supports for Durham region adults who have needs related to aging, physical or mental health and their caregivers * helps people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible * referral to other community services

  • Adult Day Program Adult day program * safe and comfortable setting for clients to enjoy a wide array of social and recreational programs and at the same time provides a break for caregivers * available to all Durham residents

  • COPE Mental Health A community mental health service offering support to adults aged 16 and older, with emotional and/or mental health concerns.

  • Foot Care Clinic Foot care services provided by registered foot care nurses * foot care is available to clients who attend the Ajax-Pickering Adult Day Program

  • Luncheon Out An opportunity once a month to share a hot meal, entertainment and health promotion/wellness demonstrations * meals include an entrée, beverage and dessert
  •  
  • Meals on Wheels Nutritionally balanced hot or frozen meals are delivered by volunteers to clients in their homes

  • Transportation Drives provided for clients to medical appointments, shopping, attendance at adult day programs and more
