Description of Services:
This non-profit organization provides mental health assistance to adolescents with emotional, psychiatric and behaviour disorders * team includes social workers, youth and family counsellors, child and youth counsellors, art therapist, consulting child psychiatrist and psychologist/psychometrist.
Community Services Program - Assessment and treatment provided to adolescents and their families through individual, family or group therapy.
Day Treatment Program - Support to adolescents who can no longer be maintained in a regular community school. Separate classrooms are provided in the reqular school setting.
Residential Programs - Two residential homes within Durham Region provide support and assistance to adolecents who are unable to live at home. The level of support and length of stay varies.
Intensive/Crisis Service - For children and youth who are at immediate risk of losing their place in the family home.
