Description of Services:

The Diabetes Education Centre provides an assessment of health needs, education, information and ongoing management for clients with pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes * monthly diabetes education groups offered virtually

Services include:
  • Group education classes
  • Individualized counseling by registered nurses and dietitians
  • Pregnancy care for gestational or type 2 diabetes
  • Insulin and GLP-1 initiation and support
  • Regular diabetes follow-up
  • Endocrinology clinic
