Description of Services:

Care for the physical and spiritual needs of individuals of all race, color, creed, sex or age.
  • Emergency Assistance - emergency assistance provided includes food, milk, shelter, clothing and transportation
  • Lunch programs - winter and summer lunch programs.
  • Coats for Kids - This campaign is a partnership involving contributions from area business, schools and the community at large to assist families with children keep their kids warm in the winter. Runs middle of September through to the end of October each year.
  • Medical and Dental - provide short term assistance only until a client can find a longer term solution. Clients are typically low income families and individuals either working or on WSIB or EI and are not covered by social service programs or other medical insurance plans
  • Self Help Program - Celebrate Recovery meetings for all people with hurts, habits or hang-ups. Meetings are Tue from 6:30-9pm.
  • Food Bank - Mon, Wed, Fri from 9am-1pm.
  • Christmas Assistance - Food and toys are distributed to those families who cannot afford these items. Application process for this service
  • Disaster Services - small and large scale disasters. For individuals and families involved in home fires and automobile accidents. Services include food, accommodation, personal needs items, housing assistance, clothing, furniture, appliances and household items.
