Description of Services:
Provides assessment, treatment, consultation and education to children and young adults with motor and communication impairments * offers the following programs and services:
CTC school program: provides 23 classrooms where individualized academic instruction is provided to students who required intensive rehabilitation therapy
CTC out-patient services: provides physio, occupational, speech therapy and social work services to children with motor and communication impairments
Assistive communication services: provides programming for a range of communication systems and/or writing aids
School health support services: arranges therapist visits to community schools and provides in-school assessment, consultation and treatment to improve children's independence, function and community school intergration
Rural services: provides assessments, consultation and treatment programs to communities of Sudbury East, Manitoulin and the 144 corridor and Chapleau
Preschool services: TIPS (therapeutic intervention with parents) supports caregivers by teaching therapy techniques
PATH (preschool assessment and therapy) incorporates intensive multidisciplinary therapies within a structured preschool curriculum which emphasizes socialization and play
SPOT (speech, physio, and occupational therapy program) therapy professionals visits community child care settings and provides programming to facilitate each child’s function and successful integration
